Aqua Resources Group incorporated in June 2003 with the objective of providing world-class services to the Financial Services and IT sectors. The business started by providing technology resources and consultants, as a recruiter of both permanent and contract employees.
With an early expansion into the Middle East, the group grew from strength to strength. In early 2006, the founders were approached by a highly successful technology company in the UK. After almost a year of negotiations, Aqua board directors agreed a synergistic deal to acquire the UK business. The group CEO, Matt Thompsett, with his passion for the Middle East acquired the Bahrain-based business as part of the deal and now is focused on developing the business throughout the region.
In terms of recruitment, Executive Search is the organisation’s core business supplying many of the most important organisations in the region. Mainly in the financial and consulting sector, the business supplies World-Class talent throughout the Middle East.
To meet the technology demands of the region, Aqua has created a new subsidiary to the business in the form of Aqua Business Solutions. Based in Bahrain and the UK, the company delivers Software Solutions to meet specific business challenges.
