Quadrate completes Management Buy-Out

In December 2005, Quadrate has completed a Management Buy-Out. Funding was raised from a2e Venture Catalysts, who led the investment round, The Capital Fund, a £50 million venture capital fund that invests in fast-growth companies in Greater London, and the company’s management team.  Quadrate will use the funding to expand its sales, operations, develop additional technology and make further investment in its US offices.

a2e Venture Catalysts

An all encompassing investment banking service for the enlightened Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurial Medium sized Businesses (EMBs - enterprise value or turnover up to £500 million) wishing to prosper in the new economic paradigm.

Almost all other Corporate Finance advisers just advise and are paid a fee with little ongoing involvement in shareholder value created. Venture Capitalists primarily invest only in well run and profitable businesses.

a2e and Partners uniquely invest in special and mainly "difficult" cases with merit, where potential may be "unlocked", and the need for a high level of expertise and involvement is welcome. These include "turnarounds", underperforming businesses, shareholder conflicts, financial distress and businesses poised for substantial growth.

a2e Venture Catalysts' manifest and demonstrable success and track record with investments in private EMB's and advising on MBO/MBI's, fund raising, acquisitions and disposals is a result of a2e's all encompassing approach and proactive help with clients' strategic development, growth and creation of value/wealth for such EMBs and stakeholders.
