Quadrate’s Board of Directors and management team combines senior level skill sets and decades of experience in technical, financial, advertising and general management fields within the technology sector.
Chairman
Having been Head of Corporate Finance in the North of England for Grant Thornton, Amin founded a²e Venture Catalysts Limited in 2001 to provide “investment banking“ type advice on an all encompassing basis to Entrepreneur Managed Businesses (“EMBs“). Over the last five years, a²e has evolved to not only provide advice to EMBs but has also acquired significant stakes in a number of diverse industrial focussed businesses with an aggregate turnover of in excess of £100m.
In addition to providing strategic advice to the Quadrate Group of Companies, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Quadrate Group.
Chief Executive Officer / Founder Philippe has over 20 years of business experience at the highest levels in several industries including Publishing, Advertising, High Tech, IT and Consulting. He stems from an accounting background having done articles in Johannesburg, South Africa and studied an MBA at the University of Potchefstroom. He qualified as a developer in the early nineties and has been involved in Solutions Development for several years.
Philippe is the founder of Quadrate and the architect and developer of the original version of ERP². Philippe spent the early part of his career in the Advertising and publishing industries and achieved great succes, receiving numerous international awards. Philippe then moved on to SAP consulting in the USA and Europe, working at MAS, Whittman-Hart and marchFIRST in senior management positions.
Chief Technology Officer Charles has been designing and developing business solutions for the last 10 years. He has broad experience managing IT infrastructures, complex application architectures and large development projects. Having worked in many disparate environments, and with a wide variety of clients, he has experience with a multitude of technologies and industries.
Charles has many years of experience with SAP and with integrating and certifying other technologies with SAP. He has led numerous development teams and established development methods and techniques for the companies he has worked with. He is committed to remaining on the leading edge of technology by utilizing the most recent tools and techniques.
Company Secretary and acting CFO Will joined a²e in 2004, having previously qualified with BDO Stoy Hayward, working at a leading corporate finance boutique and as Finance Director for a US Venture Capital owned subsidiary based in the North West of England. His role at a²e involved negotiating, structuring and funding transactions and providing support and financial advice to a²e's growing number of investee companies.
He provides financial advice to the Company dealing with the Company's funders and professional advisers and is the Company Secretary of all Quadrate Group companies.
